Clear separate start screen buttons for Normal Photo vs AI Portrait
Make the choice between a normal photo and an AI Portrait (and, where enabled, background removal) an obvious, equal choice on the start screen rather than a large Create AI Portrait button with a small Skip link. Operators report guests believing AI is mandatory and getting frustrated. Requests: separate, equally sized start screen buttons for Photo and AI Portrait (and Background Removal), fully editable like other buttons including custom images, each leading to its own flow (AI to style selection, Photo to template selection), so AI is not forced onto multi-photo strips. Some also want the AI button tied to a tap-to-pay step.
Consolidated from 11 customer requests on 3 Sep 2026.
Original request
Backdrop removal and Ai should be an experience on it’s own, for examples an icon/button for normal Photos, Ai and Backdrop removal. 3 different experiences for guests to select.
Thank you!

Would be a great feature. Many people don’t like this AI stuff.

Yes this would be great as sometime people dont want the background removal or AI but its either turned on or off, only workaround is switching between events.
Would be nice at the start of the session when you click, to select “regular photo”, “Background removal”, “Ai” then it flows accordingly. I know after the session wouldnt make sense since you are using credits .

Better way to Skip AI Portraits
The guest is led to believe that they are required to take an AI photo, as the distinction between the AI option and a standard photo is unclear. The small "Skip" button at the bottom of the screen is difficult to spot. Please make the AI and standard photo options the same size.

Editable buttons for selecting normal photo or AI
My suggestion is: make 2 buttons for either Normal photo or AI photo. Make it fully editable like the other buttons, also with the option for uploading an image for the buttons.
I had to turn off the AI. The reason is that it is not possible to edit all buttons WHEN you activate AI, the button is huge, and as a small footnote, there is a small link if you want to take a normal photo. After an event, people complained that you could only choose AI, as you cannot clearly see the link to regular photos. I hope it will be changed so that you can design and upload 2 equally large buttons yourself where it is clearly possible to choose normal photo or AI photo. Until that happens, I cannot use AI for anything, as it confuses the guests.

Separate AI experience from others
Let AI portrait be the separate experience that way that customers could choose between regular photos, gif, video and AI photos.

I want to precise AI totally separated because today “
Add option to skip AI Portraits “ adds a layout ( if at least one is set in the photo layout) on the AI portrait.
Tha Ai portait doesn’t need a layout.

Add Dedicated AI Button and Separate Workflow from Standard Photo Mode
I would like to suggest improving the workflow by clearly separating AI sessions from standard photo sessions.
Current behavior:
Users first choose AI Portrait or skip it
Afterwards, they still go through the same layout selection (postcard, photo strip, etc.)
This applies to both AI and normal photo sessions
Problem:
AI and standard photo sessions have very different requirements.
For example:
AI works best with a single image
Photo strips require multiple photos
Combining both (AI and Photostrip) leads to:
Long processing times
Confusing user flow
Suboptimal results
Suggested improvement:
Add a dedicated button on the start screen for each mode, similar to existing options like GIF or Boomerang
Example:
AI Photo
Photo
GIF
Boomerang/SlowMotion
Maybe like this:
Behavior:
When selecting AI Photo:
Only one image is captured
No multi-photo layouts (like strips)
When selecting Photo:
Normal workflow with layout selection (postcard, strip, etc.)
Additional note:
I will create a separate feature request related to this topic, suggesting the ability to assign different photo layouts (templates) to different modes (AI vs standard photo).
Both features would work very well together.

Ai and normal Portait Startscreen
I would like to have a startscreen where customers can choose between AI and Portrait.
If AI was chooosen, he can select an style.
If he select Portrait, he can choose between different templates.
The option to skip the Ai is not the same.
Ai with a collage of 3 photos does not make any sense.
I hope you can understand my request.
Greetings from germany

AI Portrait
We need a clear option to choose between AI portraits and standard photos. The small button at the bottom isn't effective, and many of my guests have already been very frustrated by it!

layout button
hello , Could you make "Skip AI Portrait" the same size as "Create AI Portrait" so that guests can easily see the selection button? Or perhaps rearrange the button layout to make it more visible? (Especially for smaller photo booths).
