I would like to suggest improving the workflow by clearly separating AI sessions from standard photo sessions.
Current behavior:
Users first choose AI Portrait or skip it
Afterwards, they still go through the same layout selection (postcard, photo strip, etc.)
This applies to both AI and normal photo sessions
Problem:
AI and standard photo sessions have very different requirements.
For example:
AI works best with a single image
Photo strips require multiple photos
Combining both (AI and Photostrip) leads to:
Long processing times
Confusing user flow
Suboptimal results
Suggested improvement:
Add a dedicated button on the start screen for each mode, similar to existing options like GIF or Boomerang
Example:
AI Photo
Photo
GIF
Boomerang/SlowMotion
Maybe like this:

Behavior:
When selecting AI Photo:
Only one image is captured
No multi-photo layouts (like strips)
When selecting Photo:
Normal workflow with layout selection (postcard, strip, etc.)
Additional note:
I will create a separate feature request related to this topic, suggesting the ability to assign different photo layouts (templates) to different modes (AI vs standard photo).
Both features would work very well together.
