Customizable AI Prompts
Let operators create their own AI Portrait styles instead of choosing only from the built-in presets: write custom prompts, upload their own backgrounds or reference images, and tailor styles to a client's theme (a sports team, a World Cup event, a TV series, puppets, a brand). Requests came in from English, Portuguese, and Spanish speaking operators, all asking for the same thing: personalization of the AI experience for each client.
Consolidated from 12 customer requests on 3 Sep 2026.
Original request

AI Prompts
Would love the ability to create prompts for client events. Clients who I’ve reached out to would like something that is not an option - really nothing close. Or if that is not feasible in the near future, maybe a succinct way to request AI themes?

Custm AI Prompts - Add preset for no AI effect
hi guys I like the new update especially the AI stuff one thing I do believe it is in very much need of is the option at events to select whether it is an AI image that is going to be taken or not currently it can only be on or off Until this is an option I don't think it is a good option for businesses or for the guests So the scenario should be touch screen to start choose your template that and the choice of template should be AI or normal. Also as it currently stands if I choose more than one template so I have a single shot and a multi shot template and AI switched on and the guest chooses the multi shot it's going to do three AI shots per session which I assume is going to be 3 AI credits per session This is another reason why AI should template

AI Feature
Hopefully a simple request. Just so that on the ‘choose your template’ screen, theres some sort of indicator for ai or not. So guests can choose a template with the ai feature enabled, or without. So that the whole event isnt one or the other, or i have to go into the settings to manually switch between the two.

AI Portraits and credits
I've just tested the new version today since I receive a message from DSLRBooth & LumaBooth Photo Booth Software, that awaiting update is here. The AI portraits feature is not as good as I expected. I upload high quality image of me, my wife and my
daughter and the AI didn’t make us look even close the same. I can assume what will happend at event. The people will try again and again wich will cost a lot of additional credits, which by the way are way too much expensive… Also it will take a lot of time to one person to like himself before it print it. I know that this is not actually science, but overall the price is too much for this crappy thing. Also you can put prompt in the dashboard to generate a custom AI Portraits, because you don’t have so much options.
You can also put the AI feature into the starting screen as a button or at sharing screen as a additional effect to choose from. Now is very agressive and lead you directly to the AI portraits.

Hey, thanks for the feedback.
For better likeness results, check out our guide here: https://support.lumasoft.co/en/articles/14260288-ai-portraits. It covers tips on photo quality, lighting, and what works best. Group photos are trickier for the AI, so the guide should help.
If you're still not getting good results after following those tips, reach out to our support team with examples of the images you used and the output you got. They can take a closer look and help troubleshoot.
On your other points: the suggestions around custom prompts in the Dashboard and more control over where AI Portraits appears in the flow are great. We're hearing similar feedback from other operators and it's on our radar.
Appreciate you taking the time to share this.

Request: Custom Effects/Prompts for AI Effects
I have used the AI effects in two professional events now. I’m finding that the effects are great, but not personal enough to event he two events I’ve done. Allowing owners to added custom effects would bridge that gap.

Como adicionar novos preset na IA?
Gostaria de adicionar novos prompts de acordo com o estilo do cliente, como posso fazer? O cliente quer algo relacionado a copa do mundo, e eu gostaria de gerar algo assim.
