I've just tested the new version today since I receive a message from DSLRBooth & LumaBooth Photo Booth Software, that awaiting update is here. The AI portraits feature is not as good as I expected. I upload high quality image of me, my wife and my

daughter and the AI didn’t make us look even close the same. I can assume what will happend at event. The people will try again and again wich will cost a lot of additional credits, which by the way are way too much expensive… Also it will take a lot of time to one person to like himself before it print it. I know that this is not actually science, but overall the price is too much for this crappy thing. Also you can put prompt in the dashboard to generate a custom AI Portraits, because you don’t have so much options.
You can also put the AI feature into the starting screen as a button or at sharing screen as a additional effect to choose from. Now is very agressive and lead you directly to the AI portraits.

    For better likeness results, check out our guide here. It covers tips on photo quality, lighting, and what works best. Group photos are trickier for the AI, so the guide should help.

    If you're still not getting good results after following those tips, reach out to our support team with examples of the images you used and the output you got. They can take a closer look and help troubleshoot.

    On your other points: the suggestions around custom prompts in the Dashboard and more control over where AI Portraits appears in the flow are great. We're hearing similar feedback from other operators and it's on our radar.
