Hide the default Photo button and booth icons from the dashboard screen editor
Make hidden or removed start screen elements stick when an event is edited or created in the dashboard. Operators who design their own start screen report that the default Photo button and the Print, Video, and GIF text labels keep reappearing after saving, restarting, duplicating the event, or syncing to another computer, and that hiding them on the booth does not carry over to the online setup.

ALSO…. when changed ON THE PC, it does NOT update other DEVICES!! OH NO! Please fix this ASAP.

The photo button is present when creating a new event on the dashboard.
Even if I duplicate an event (or create a new event from existing) from the PC in Lumabooth, with the button turned off, it STILL shows on the Welcome Screen on the Dashboard online in that event… then persists to show the button on the rest of the devices.

It’s not a workflow issue… I just DONT want the photo button to appear on the screen. ONLY touch to Start. But there’s no way to create a new event (from the office - either online OR in the app) and have it populate the other Surface pros (in the field, with our staff) — it ALWAYS shows the photo button, even if we remove it from another surface pro or the app device in the office.

Yes. Both. That’s my default workflow. It works fo the one machine… but when distributing the event to the other machines, that setting is not persistent and the photo button always appears online and th other devices.

Hello! Quick update on this one. In v8.1.26, the global Booth Icons toggle has been replaced with per-button Show/Hide controls and editable label text on each start-session button. The settings sync through the cloud, so they round-trip between LumaBooth Windows.
To get it, open LumaBooth Windows, then Help, then Check for Updates.

Hide Photo Button
I thought we fixed this… but apparently not. When I check the “hide button” options on the surface pro, it does not transfer to the online portal/event setup.
When I Duplicate the Event, it reappears again and can’t be hidden from the online setup. Even if I layer it BEHIND the live view screen, that still does not update on the other computers.
PLEASE LET ME HIDE THIS PHOTO BUTTON FROM THE ONLINE SETUP PORTAL!!!!!

On the startscreen it ads always a text under the button to the startscrenn when it is edited over this dashboard

Screen editor (design page)
Usually when I create an event. I have my own greeting screen video and welcome screen with my OWN print button. Hence I don’t need the text from lumabooth showing “print” “video” “GIF” etc. I designed my own. So I have had this text deleted. With this most recent update, lumabooth is not remembering or saving my settings. When I remove the print label or GIF label, or any label. It will only save while actively in the event. The moment I exit out of it or restart the software, the text will come back on my welcom screen and look like a complete mess. This is very annoying and have to delete them individually EVERY SINGLE TIME. Why is it not saving this important setting?
