ello LumaBooth Support Team,
We are experiencing a recurring issue with LumaBooth during our live photobooth operation.
The error message “Video recording was too short. Please try again.” appears repeatedly even though we are using PHOTO MODE ONLY and video recording has already been completely disabled.
The issue does not happen immediately. During approximately the first hour, everything works normally. After several photo sessions, the error starts appearing repeatedly.
The strange behavior is that after restarting LumaBooth, the first photo session may work normally, but immediately after that, the same error appears again. Sometimes one session works, then the error appears again on the next session. This continues repeatedly until the end of the event.
We have already restarted LumaBooth several times, but the problem keeps coming back.
We initially suspected that the problem was related to the camera or hardware. However, we have tested the account/software on another photobooth setup with a different PC, and the same problem also occurred there several times.
Our equipment:
Camera: Canon EOS 550D / Canon EOS 600D
Printer: Epson L8050
Main computer: Huawei laptop
Other booth: Different PC/computer
Since the same issue has occurred on different computers/setups, we do not believe this is simply a hardware issue with one particular camera or computer.
What is also confusing is that LumaBooth displays a video recording error while we are only taking photos and video recording has been disabled.
This issue is seriously affecting our paid photobooth operations because customers cannot consistently complete their photo sessions.
Could you please investigate whether this is a LumaBooth software bug, account/event issue, or an issue related to Canon DSLR photo capture?
We would also appreciate instructions on what diagnostic logs or settings you need from us to identify the cause.
We can provide a video recording of the issue, screenshots, Debug Logs, and any other information required.
Thank you. We hope this can be investigated urgently because the issue is affecting our live business operations.
