Sony a7v Windows

Sony a7V is compatible on ipad os via direct usb connection, but not compatible on windows. It detects the camera model but unable to view the live screen or perform any captures. Additional information: all sony imaging edge software has been uninstalled, as well as libusbk drivers, performed a fresh restart before opening luma booth. Any tips? I am aware of the notice that the a7v may not be compatible based on Sony's SDK availability as notified on your camera compatibility page, but still find it odd that the ipad app allows full compatibility with flash trigger functionality.
