Feature Request
Please allow LumaShare to connect to multiple devices running LumaBooth simultaneously, rather than being limited to a single LumaBooth device/session.
The Use Case
At many events, we run multiple LumaBooth setups at the same time. For example:
📸 Photo Booth — Device 1
🔄 360° Booth — Device 2
🚶 Roaming Booth — Device 3
📲 LumaShare — Sharing Station
All devices would be connected to the same local network.
Currently, LumaShare can only connect to one LumaBooth device, meaning we have to run separate events/LumaShare setups. This prevents us from having one central sharing station for the entire event.
Proposed Solution
Allow LumaShare to discover and connect to multiple LumaBooth devices on the local network and combine their media into a single event feed.
Ideally, during LumaShare setup, we could select:
Connected Devices
☑ Photo Booth
☑ 360 Booth
☑ Roaming Booth
Then choose what media to display from each device:
Photo Booth
☑ Photos
☑ GIFs
☐ Videos
☐ 360 Videos
360 Booth
☐ Photos
☐ GIFs
☐ Videos
☑ 360 Videos
Roaming Booth
☑ Photos
☑ GIFs
☑ Videos
Alternatively, there should be a simple "Show All Media" option that combines everything from all connected devices.
Bonus Feature: Multiple LumaShare Stations
It would also be extremely useful to allow multiple LumaShare stations to connect to the same event/media pool.
For example:
Multiple LumaBooth Devices → One Event/Media Pool → Multiple LumaShare Stations
This would allow large events to have sharing stations in different areas of the venue, with each station optionally mirroring the same content.
Why This Matters
This would make LumaShare much more useful for professional event operators running multiple experiences at the same event.
Instead of:
One Booth → One LumaShare
we could have:
Multiple Booths → One Event → One Media Pool → Multiple LumaShare Stations
T
his would be a significant improvement for weddings, corporate events, school balls, 21sts, festivals and other large events.
In short: please give LumaShare the ability to aggregate media from multiple LumaBooth devices on the same local network.
