I run a Sony mirrorless (ZV-E10) tethered in PC Remote mode as my primary camera. It's excellent for stills, but LumaBooth's video capture doesn't work when the Sony is the tethered camera, so I can't offer a video message or video booth experience without giving up the Sony for photos entirely.
Could you add an option to assign the camera source per capture mode? Specifically: keep the tethered Sony for photo modes, but when a guest selects a video mode (video message, video booth, GIF, boomerang), have LumaBooth automatically switch to the iPad's built-in camera for that capture, then switch back to the Sony for the next photo session.
Ideally the operator could choose which iPad camera is used, front or rear, since setups mount the iPad differently. The handoff would be automatic based on the mode the guest picks, so guests never touch a setting.
This would help any operator using a tethered DSLR or mirrorless for photo quality who still wants to offer video in the same session. Right now it's an either/or, and this feature would let both work together without a workaround.
