Currently, LumaBooth only generates a QR code after the photos have been uploaded to FotoShare. During temporary internet outages, guests receive no QR code at all.
I would like to suggest generating a unique QR code (or unique download URL) for each photo session immediately after capture, even if there is no internet connection.
For privacy reasons, the QR code should always point only to that specific session (or that guest's photo set), not to the entire event gallery.
If the photos have not yet been uploaded, scanning the QR code could simply display a message such as:
"Your photos are currently being uploaded. Please check back in a few minutes."
As soon as the internet connection is restored and the upload is complete, the same QR code should automatically provide access to that session's photos.
Benefits:
Guests always receive a QR code, even during temporary internet outages.
No need to reprint or regenerate QR codes.
Better reliability for weddings and live events where LTE connections may be unstable.
Privacy is maintained because each QR code links only to the guest's own photo session.
Other photobooth software already offers similar offline-first functionality.
This would make LumaBooth significantly more robust for professional event use.
